Tinder : Tinder Dates from Hell (1/3)

Being a male, I matched a few girls in my time on Tinder. 3 of them stick out the most. I’ll post the first one and see if y’all want the other two. Anyway, here goes.

The first girl I matched… we’ll call her Psychoshit… We matched and had 1 brief « hey, how are you, I’m great » conversation. That was it. She wasn’t all that great looking nor did her bio strike me as being something I’d pursue a relationship for. Honestly, I probably swiped right on accident. Anyway, after about 2 weeks (I was really bad about unmatching bad matches) she suddenly starts messaging me about how she’s sick of guys, we’re all the same, blah blah blah, and quote « If I don’t crash my car before I get home I »m gonna drink bleach ». **W H A T**
I start messaging her to slow down, explain what’s wrong, and don’t do anything hasty. All I get is « Wouldn’t you like to know? » followed by « Bye forever ». I’m on a group call with friends and they all are saying what I’m thinking; she’s doing it for attention. But then I think « What if she actually does kill herself and I’m the last person she talked to? » fuck.

So I call 911, not knowing what else to do. I tell the dispatcher what’s going on, and that I only know this girl’s first name and a possible area she lives in. I know, not much to go on. A bout 10 minutes later, I get a call from a county deputy who takes my statement and says he’ll be in touch. An hour later and he calls me back. God bless this man cuz he found who she is and got ahold of her mom. Turns out she was just having ‘boyfriend trouble’ and was very emotional. He tells me he’ll follow up with me once she’s confirmed safe and sound. Another 20 minutes later and I get the call that she’s home, grounded, and no longer allowed on Tinder. Best part? 30 seconds after I hang up with the Deputy, she messages me and says « Did you call the cops?? » I played dumb but really was thinking « You deserve this for claiming to want to kill yourself. You can’t just tell a stranger that and not expect them to do something ».
Oh, and this all happened at like 10pm-11pm as well.

Anyway, that’s the most mild of my failed Tinder matches. Let me know if you want the others.

Edit: I realize I said we’ll call her Psychoshit, and then never called her Psychoshit, but I’m too lazy to go back and redo it.
