I can’t answer your question but I can give a tip. Try pof in a browser on a computer. Searching is much easier. In regions with not to much users you can easily find someone. It’s a different user experience. Also valid for other dating apps.
I only use my laptop. You can create a second account (just a minimal account will do) that doesn’t need pics or tie back to you. Using the search feature, find who you are looking for. At the top, where the page information shows, it will include profileid=123456. Go into your account and use the profile ID to get to that page. Save it in your likes.
