Add new emojis to your iPhone
Emojis have been very popular for several months. These small pictograms have invaded our emails, our SMS but also our instant messengers (Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp etc ..). Good news, the Message application is enriched with 4 new packs of animated emojis to make our messages even more attractive.
New smileys for the iPhone
No need to introduce you to the emoticons ? These strange smileys have become over time a new mode of communication in their own right. Simple and easy to use, they allow certain emotions to be translated more easily than with words. As you already know, a drawing is better than a long speech.
As of this writing, the iPhone keyboard has a little over 1000 emojis. But that fans of emoticons rest assured, Apple has just presented 4 new animated icon packs and in 3D. Enough to give iPhone users a wider range of expressions.
How to install these new emojis on your Apple smartphone
Among these new figurines, we find some 3D hearts, stickers in the shape of old Macs but also adorable little ones yellow smileys. Note also the arrival of new finger gestures. This should increase the popularity of these little symbols.
This new batch of emojis is available for free on the App Store in the form of 4 packs (smileys, hearts, classic mac and hands). To install them on your iPhone, you just have to follow the procedure described below
- Open the App Store
- Click on one of the thumbnails to download the new 3D emojis
- Then press the free button to start downloading the emoticons
- Wait a few seconds for the application to install on your phone
- Then open the Message app
- Place your finger on the text field to trigger the appearance of the keyboard
- Click on the smiley face icon
- Then select the emoticon you want to add to your message from the list
Please note that these 4 packs are only compatible with iPhones with iOS 10. Unfortunately the new version of Apple’s mobile operating system is only available in beta for the moment. The final version of iOS 10 should appear this fall with a completely redesigned Message app and of course new emojis.
To remove one of the packs, simply place your finger on the shortcut icon placed on the iPhone desktop. After a few seconds all the icons will start to shake. You will then only have to press the small X symbol placed just above the image to remove one of the emoticon packs.
Note that these will only be visible on devices equipped with iOs 10. In other words, not many people. However, we can easily imagine that Apple will integrate them at the end of the summer in its new mobile OS to the delight of fans of emojis.
