Dating : Coronavirus Lockdown Journal: Day 40

h2>Dating : Coronavirus Lockdown Journal: Day 40

Looking around, I’d say people are getting antsy. Construction crews are working on the sky, everyone is jogging, I’m making a movie.

Recently, I’ve been having this feeling of the end of summer, the last days of vacation. « We have so many shows we haven’t watched, » I said to Deb.

When we get out of lockdown, what am I looking forward to? Working, I guess. Theatre is highly questionable, but highly questionable is one of my specialties. What else? Visiting people. Yeah, that’s probably number one, actually. Hosting a dinner party.

Quiet: the Power of Introverts In A World That Can’t Stop Talking was a game changing book for me, in that it gave me new levels of comfort in indulging in a way of life I had fallen into by emotional necessity: hermitude. Normally, I love spending all day by myself, lost in my little world. But dude, seriously, 40 days and I’m ready to host an open studio. Even if only the people next door show up again.
