Current State of Mind v3
Love is an interesting thing. While many times it may be bliss, beauty, and wonderful; other times it can also be the complete opposite. Some days may feel off and you may feel like you have been putting forth the most effort compared to your partner and vice versa. In the end though, when you truly love them you work through it. I say this knowing I am not the perfect man, but I do pride myself in knowing that I love whole heartedly and that I allow myself to be vulnerable in order to really assert my love. Even then, at times it can be overwhelming for my partner and make her feel like i’m invading space. This has to be the single most challenging thing for me to understand is knowing when to back off or leave things be. I always say I would much rather take care of things now than later, even though in the moment it may not be the best time to tackle the issue. Tensions are risen and blood is boiling so this leaves a lot of room for error and gestures done out of anger. Sometimes things are better left alone and given time to simmer down. I hate letting my partner sleep angry or mad at me, so I do what I can to make her smile at the end of the day even if I had been the one to put a frown on that beautiful face. At the end of the day, I love her and I know she loves me too.
I get angry, sad, and just about every emotion you can think of. That’s a part of being human. You could say love is crazy, go ahead. LOVE IS FUCKING CRAZY — — it is. It really is, and it is also extremely complex that I could not begin to even say that I completely understand it. I will say though that no matter how crazy it gets I still know in my heart that you are the one I want a future with.
