Dating : Dad: The real Superhero

h2>Dating : Dad: The real Superhero

“Whoa! That was so cool! Hey dad! Did you see that? Did you see me? Did you see what I did?” ~ Squirt — Finding Nemo

Yesss! This is every single one of us when we do something good. The very first person we want to make proud.

Fathers are our first teacher whose lessons remain with us until our last breath. He loves us even when we disappoint him and he stands by us when nobody else does. From baby steps to the crucial steps to make up your career, the person who is always there to guide you is your father! He is the person who makes sure that his child doesn’t make the same mistakes that he did.

A day to celebrate your first superhero, the person who let you fall to learn to ride the bicycle, who lets you get angry on him and loves you more after that, who lets you see things your way and then gives his viewpoint. A day of giving an appreciation of the care and love that a father showers upon his children.

A little history of Father’s Day:
According to Wikipedia, Father’s Day was first celebrated in the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 1910, by Sonora Smart Dodd. Her father was civil war veteran William Jackson Smart, who was a single parent that raised his six children. Thanks to his loving daughter Sonora Smart Dodd we have a day to acknowledge the important role played by a father.

There’s no perfect definition of being a good father but here’s how the Bible defines ‘father’ :
Father = correction
No matter how hard how it is for a parent to scold his/her child, but they administer the short-term pain of discipline to shape a child’s long-term character. You might think that your father has been a little tough on you at some times but when you’ll look back its only the good stuff that stays!

Father = Love
A father’s love has no equivalent. It turns a child into a confident adult.

Fathers need to remember that their greatest contribution to the kingdom of God may not be something they do, but someone they raise.

I am sure to you ‘The perfect dad’ is your dad!

When I think of what I love about my father, there is a trail of thoughts that rush through my mind but the thing I appreciate the most is how he takes responsibilities, no matter what the hardships, to be the kind of father I need him to be!

Love you, Papa!

A father means so many things. He can be a friend, a teacher, a motivator depending upon what do you need. He provides you with support when you need it. He is the one you’ll always look up to in the times when you find yourself engulfed with the feeling of loneliness. He is the one who constantly pushes you towards success. A real treasure of experiences and life lessons.

One day is just not enough to celebrate the awesomeness of dads!
Always thanks to the almighty that your superhero is always there to help you.

Lots of love to all the Dads out there.
