Dom and his Dream.

CHAOS! CHAOS! CHAOS! Everywhere the year 2020, and the world is going through fire it’s crashing down everything built by humans is getting affected. Presidents crying, planes crashing, the Australian Wildfires and the deadly virus that has affected thousands of people and is destroying people’s lives and making the economy fail all over the world the lockdowns the restrictions the danger that people had to face. Covid-19 a virus spreading from china to all over the world, and in between a guy named Dom the loving son of jack and Martha, the boy who was loved by his parents and all his wishes were fulfilled by his parents when they were young and being the only son they never stopped working for him and never letting him not have anything he wanted or needed, but now they had gotten old 80 years of jack and 75 years of Martha couldn’t do much of work, now their son who loved his parents too and was taking care of them. Life was going pretty well but then every life got affected in one way or another after the deadly virus got its hand all over the world. Same happened with Dom he was a hard working guy and his parents had raised him to work with all his might so he was very good in going any work that he had started, but things started to change it was not that Dom had become a bad guy or stopped working, but what could he have done he was a hardworking business man but with the economy crashing down to the ground he was unable to do anything. He kept trying to do well and tried to work things out. He was doing his best not to go crazy with everything going on. He had started becoming angry on little things as his business kept going into loss but he kept trying. After sometime he had to work all the time to keep things going he hardly had time to do other things to do things he loved or to have a good rest, time passed by and after the day and night struggles of the doctors a vaccine came out, and people thought it would be their way out and now they would be able to enjoy things as they did before, but that’s not how the world works these things take time in recovering. When the vaccine was announced Dom was really busy he did not get himself registered and hadn’t got any shot because of all the work, now his parents were very old they themselves could not go, so they Asked Dom to take them to the Vaccination centre so they can get the vaccine and asked him to get vaccinated to, he replied yes we will go after sometime, but little he knew that he would get some trouble again he had some issue with work and had to work more to get it solved, and his parents wanted to get the vaccine as soon as possible so they asked him to take them sometimes, after sometime when they kept insisting Dom got angry he couldn’t make time and they kept insisting so he lost control over him and started shouting on his parents and started saying things that he shouldn’t have said his anger had got the best of him and he said many things that he didn’t want to on which his parents got very disappointed even his mother had started crying. After listening to him they went to their rooms. Dom had not been like that ever, but now he had done something he was going to regret. After all that happened Dom thought of watching the news for some time to see what was happening in the world. He turned on the TV and saw the death toll and the people crying after losing their families to covid-19. He was so tired that while watching the TV he fell asleep. In the Dom morning goes to work. Dom goes to a meeting where he had to meet some new people that were suppose to work with him on a new project, which would have been his ticket to paradise everything would get better if that project succeeds. He meets those people in a meeting what he didn’t know was that one of those people was carrying the virus with him. After the meeting gets over Dom decides to go home and talk to his parents because he knew what he had done was not right and he had to talk to them. When he reaches home he talks to his parents and gets things sorted out and hugs them not knowing now he had the virus on him too, and tells them that he would take them for the vaccine after this project gets started. Nobody knew what was coming next. 2 days get passed and Dom starts getting sick along with his parents, his parents who were in their 80’s got sick much faster than him because their immune system was not up to the mark and couldn’t fight the virus. Dom knew something was wrong so he took them to the hospital, to get them treated and himself too, but what he didn’t know was that it was too late for his parents they didn’t have the will or the body to fight that virus that had affected them. Dom had fought the virus but he had also gotten weak. While the doctors try to heal his parents he refuses to get treated until he knows his parents are alright, but as it was late doctor instead of their all work still are unable to save his parents, and they take their last breaths in front of Dom. Watching them die Dom himself starts losing his vision and slowly faints and falls down on the floor and the doctors and nurses take him to the emergency room but not getting treated and not getting vaccinated on time had so bad effects on their lives that it had gotten very hard to even save Dom. Now while the doctors treat Dom he opens his eyes and somehow knows he won’t survive this and blames himself for the death of his parents. And taking his last breath starts to lose his vision again and slowly with every slowing heartbeat everything starts going dark. Nobody knows what comes after death. The reason why now Dom wakes up screaming like a baby that had just been born, his parents come to him to see what had happened and seeing them he starts crying and realizes it was all a dream his parents were still there. He still had time, it was not late. He knew he had made a mistake and apologizes to his parents for not making the right decision and letting his anger get the best of him. Parents being like every parent in this world forgive him and hug him. The next day he takes his parents to get vaccinated and gets himself vaccinated too, then slowly the project he was working on also succeeds and everything gets back to normal and they go on about their lives.
