Dating : Got Luck?

Talking about a different kind of luck here.

Are we lucky to know what we want to do for the rest of our lives? Or is it actually almost always a work in progress? With the notion of life being a journey and us being a discovery, there also comes the stark reality of people figuring out and some people stuck in a jam.

Understanding and representing what one can understand, and then being able to showcase usually is not a linear process. Often, we are guided, persuaded or even told, to do what we do for a living. A lot of us eventually end up making pretty good moolah too. That kind of is the definition of success, right? What if you know your heart is not exactly in it, and you are still attached to it? Are you still there? You are, right? We know the reasons, but you are there, right?

My thing, so I did it my way.

In these situations, what is it that we do? Sit and have a conversation, list out the pros and cons? Play music and put a bandaid, get back into work mode and perform. Or do we park it, saying you do not have the luxury to sit with these questions, because you have deadlines, and reports and concepts to work on? Humans are blessed with general high threshold for crap, so even whilst enduring it, we really do often give chances. There is never a hard stop solution to these things. It begins with a mindset. With a lot of help available out there, it can get daunting, but I truly believe that the real help comes from you. It is not even a cheery self help post, or a figures’ quoting ted transcript. Its plain and simple facts, its with us. We can be worried, we can be confused and we can be lost, and that is okay and not okay at the same time. But the minute we choose to get things back in control, through any method we deem suitable, you have arrived and you are doing great. And what’s more apart from being able to know how to navigate these, you have earned your own confidence and respect-

And that is what being truly lucky is.
