Knight: “Snakes don’t scare you?”

Bishop: “Not really. People have arms and legs and guns and knives to hurt you. This little guy doesn’t even have hands. And he’s not poisonous. People are just scared of snakes because they move different. But I like how they move… Different…”

Knight: “What if a girl walks in here? Aren’t you afraid you’ll scare her off? More than your appearance already would?”

Bishop: “I’m not immune to others at all… I just don’t care how people see me as much as others seem to… I care more if I like me than if others like me. I’ve learned that the right people stick around if they like the real me. Or if they like the side of me I am when I’m with them. People are weird in general and if people find me weird they probably just haven’t acknowledged the shadows in themselves… Nothing wrong with that. And nothing wrong with me letting those people go. If they see something inside me they don’t like, that says more about them than about me.”
