That guy thought he could force a kiss. I was there to help, I wasn’t expecting anything in return, but it was better than what I could hope for…

I stood by the counter of the bar, casually scanning the patrons. It was a loud and flashy night like it probably always had been, especially on a Friday night. I came here alone. Just the place to draw out the chaos outside. Hunter was my bro and he was working here as a bartender, so I was here.

“Ray, you aren’t even trying.” Hunter smacked me in the shoulder. I turned around, he was smirking at me. I shook my head, he always wanted me to date someone.

“C’mon. I am here just because you make me come. You know I am not interested.” I shot him a death stare, but he laughed.

“It was almost a year now. Loosen up and have some fun. Maybe you just need a good pussy to get over this.”

I huffed, this man’s mind was always in the gutter. “That’s the last thing I need. No one dies without grabbing pussy.”

“You know you want it. Some women to quench your thirst.” He rubbed a glass cleaner with a towel in his hand.

I opened my mouth to talk back, but he was called by someone else. He hurried over. I turned back to the tables and the live band. There was a small fire in my belly. Apparently, I shouldn’t be looking too hard when my ex booted me because of my never-ending drive to fuck her.

Hunter seemed to be busy, maybe I should just leave. What’s the point to be in a bar without a purpose. I straightened, was on my way out when a flick of blonde caught my eyes. A woman a few years younger than me was back up to the booth by a man, her body was shaking. That man leaned close to her, his mouth opened and closed, but the bar was too loud for me to catch a word. The woman was pulling back, escaping, but that nasty man was relentless.

I clenched my fist, heading to Hunter, pulling him away from flirting with two other women. “Bro, give me two vodkas.”

Hunter sneered. “C’mon! I was having fun and the tips — ”

I lifted my brows at that man, he seemed to be inches from kissing that woman. That poor woman was almost pushed up to the booth. Maybe it was my serious face, Hunter gave me two glasses before I could blink. He smacked me in the shoulder before heading back to whoever he was talking to. I took the glasses, heading the woman’s way. That jerk was a thin one, and I could’ve worked as a bouncer if I bothered. Soon, they were steps from me. “Hey, you got a new friend. Why haven’t you introduced him to me?”

The two of them stared at me. My heart raced, what if they actually knew each other? Was I too dumb to step into others’ business? The man looked between the woman and me, he sneered. The woman’s eyes lit up as she saw me, the smile on her face made my heart skipped a beat. She said, “You are finally back, huh?”

That man turned to be, growling. “I’m first. Are you pouching?”

My jaw tight, I was pretty certain the woman dared to differ, and she did. “I am not an item, go away. I’ve told to leave.”

I chuckled, winking at her, then flicked my eyes back to the jerk. “Sad to be you, first in the evening, huh? I am first years ago.” I walked closer, giving her a glass. She took it and pecked a kiss on my nose. I almost dropped my glass, I wasn’t expecting that. I put up a smile regardless, she was cute and her curve was… a bit distracting.

The man growled, he already smelled of alcohol. He punched at me. I wasn’t expecting it, but years of combat training was worth it when I caught his fist with one hand. The woman yelped, her eyes widened in shock. I smirked at the man’s surprised face. “Before I fight back. You know you should go when her date is here.”

She added, “Yes. I’ve told you no countless times.” She took my glass, set it on the booth, and wrapped an arm across my waist. Gosh, her body felt so good. She smelled like honey.

The man muttered something under his breath and left, not without looking back at me time after time. The woman kept her arm on me for another moment until that jerk disappeared into the crowd completely. We looked between each other, both of us taking a small step to the side. I cleared my throat. “Sorry, I hope I didn’t overstep.”

She beamed, taking her glass, swirling it in her hand. “I should thank you, I don’t even know what to do when he tried to kiss me. People these days…” She closed an eye at the glass. “Vodka? Is this something safe for me to drink?”

“What? You are a bit too timid to give it a try?” I chuckled.

“I mean, you could’ve easily masked a lot of stuff with the strong stuff.” Her eyes piercing, the corner of her lips curled up.

“If you mind, I can have both.” I reached out to the glass. It was understandable to be wary. After all, I was a lot larger than her and probably wasn’t that kind-looking.

She escaped my hand, downing the drink in a gulp. She let out a breath, shaking her head. “Nah. I am just joking. You don’t seem like a bad guy.”

“Feeling deceives.” I winked, also downing the bitter liquid.

She huffed, rolling her eyes. “Anyways, thanks a lot. Your name?”

“Call me Ray.”

“I’m Rachel. And how did you manage to grab his fist, he was trying to punch you.”

“Well, I am very strong in every way possible.” It stroked my ego. Good that I am of some use. Something flashed through her eyes, her gaze traveled down my body. I gulped, did I say something wrong?

“I see.” She looked back at my face and smirked. “Your wrist is fine?” She touched my hand on the counter, sending a spark down my spine. Her fingers were so soft. How would it feel if she wrapped her fingers around my — I halted my thoughts, what was I thinking about? C’mon… Though she looked great in that dress that hugged her curve, highlighting quite a few places for my gaze to land. I let the touch lingered, moving my hand.

“It is fine. He is just an untrained little jerk. You think he could hurt me?” I lifted a brow. I looked to the bar for Hunter, but he wasn’t there. Guess my next drink got to wait.

“Um…” She looked down from my chest to my abs, then lower. My cock twitched. Well, it was seldom wrong, she sure was attractive, but I didn’t want to come off as another jerk in the bar. She cleared her throat, her cheek burning red. “I guess you really are pretty strong.”

The redness on her face probably suggested to me what she was looking at. I didn’t need to look down to myself to feel it. She rested her hand on my chest, resting her head on my shoulder. I whispered, “What does this mean?”

She gulped audibly. “Well, that jerk could be watching.”

“Right, I guess he could be.” I was pretty confident he wasn’t unless he was asking for a fight. Even if he was, there were no rules that we had to be touching each other to be dating. Though I could be pretty selfish, and her touch was great. “You are here alone?”

“Yeah, just wanted to have a change of scene. I was just trying to get a drink and head home.” Her hand was on my stomach. My heart skipped a beat, was there someone she would go home to? My cock surely felt something, but if she already had someone, I wouldn’t dare.

“A boyfriend or someone waiting for you?” I asked. There was a smirk on her face. Was I going too overboard? That did sound like a dumb question.

She laughed. “Yes, a boyfriend waiting. My roommate’s boyfriend. If I have one, you think he’d let me bugged by that jerk?”

“No, he wouldn’t.” If he would, screw him.

“And why is the question?” She rubbed my abs, maybe I was chiseled enough to feel good for her? Wait till she feels more of me.

“The way you dressed…” A stream of heat reached my cheek, this was quite an embarrassing question.

“Would turn a man on?” She blinked innocently at me. My cock answered eagerly. I sank my hand into the pocket of my jeans, wanting to hide it. Her hand ran down to my hardness, gracing over it. I shivered with my eyes wide. She soon left, leaving me wanting more. She licked her lips. “I see, being a man, huh?”

I awkwardly cleared my throat. “Sorry, I wasn’t trying to go that way. I just wanted to help you get rid of that jerk. Maybe I should leave.” I really should, before I could resist taking her on the counter. Her dress would make it easy. It would be so easy to rub her pussy- Crap! I shook my head, not the right time to be thinking about that.

“What if he comes back again?” She tugged my elbow, pulling me back. She stood on her tiptoe, her lips touched mine softly. I took hold of the back of her head, deepening the kiss. She made the move and I wasn’t a man to push her away. It had been so long since I kissed a woman it lit a fire of lust in my stomach. She moaned, parting her lips. I searched her mouth with my tongue. Her hand found my length and ran along with it, back and forth.

I lowered my voice, whispering by her ear. “If you don’t want a sleepless night, stop it right here.”

Her eyes darkened, she bit her lower lip. “I really should thank you for shooing away that jerk. And you remember my roommate’s boyfriend was in my place? It would be a sleepless night regardless.” She snuggled closer, and fuck, she rubbed her pussy against my cock, even through the layers of clothing, she was soaked.

“You really want this?” I asked though I wasn’t taking a no for an answer. I grabbed her on the ass, pushing her to my cock.

“I want you to get me out of here.” She patted my hand on her ass and turned to the door. I followed, we really should go, otherwise, I would be fucking her for the bar to see.
