h2>Dating : The Wind Chime
A poem about a voice reaching out for another

It sang and sang; cried and cried,
It’s Pearly Gates clattered closed with might
Its chants and carols to never cease,
reaching out beyond both time and seas
Its tones and chords, with painful calls,
even when there was no one left to hear at all
It quivered and croaked, and trilled alone,
through blizzard nights and numbing storms
Its trumpet bodies clanked and moaned,
even when the last hearts beat no more
It bellowed and wailed, a song’s cosmic pull,
longing for another, yet drifting all alone
And in that wind, it spoke its truth
from dawn to dusk; it cried out for you.
