h2>Dating : When Words Are Not Enough
We said what sounded good at the moment. We gave the lip service, but in a flash, we failed to support it with the appropriate action.
We said we’d do “anything” for them, but what we meant to say was, we’d do “anything, but give our full attention”.
It’d be wrong of me to say words aren’t important, but they’re easy, and often only the first step. Maybe not even the first step, a possible pre-step, perhaps?
Our words are sometimes like dipping your big toe into ice-cold water and saying you’ve been for a swim. I’m sorry to break it to you, but until your hair is wet, it doesn’t count.
