Dating : Where are the Flowers?

h2>Dating : Where are the Flowers?

A young woman named Ridhima lived next to my house. Gardening was Ridhima’s first love and probably the last too.

One day she was passing by a nursery where she saw the most vibrant and beautiful flowers she had ever seen.

She liked flowers so much that she immediately decided to grow them in her garden.

She planted the creeper near the foot of the wall of her garden and watered and nurtured it daily.

Within a few months, the creeper grew 3–4 feet long. All Ridhima wanted now was for the vine to bear those same flowers, which drove her to buy it in the first place.

But many weeks passed, and still, there was no sign of flowers.
Nevertheless, Ridhima kept watering and nurturing the creeper with compost as well as with love.

One day, she was very upset about something. She went to the garden to water her flowers. She noticed that there was still no sign of flowers on the creeper.

At that moment, it hit her that all her efforts were in vain, and the creeper was never going to bear flowers.

Ridhima did not want to waste any more energy and decided to uproot the vine.

She had gone to her storeroom to search for an appropriate tool when she heard her doorbell.

She came out to find that her neighbor was on the door with a huge bowl of fruits and Ridhima’s favorite flowers.

Before she could say something or even invite her neighbor inside, her neighbor said, “Thank you, Ridhima, for planting that beautiful creeper.

The blooms have added color and beauty to my otherwise dry and dull yard. Here is a small token of gratitude from my side”.

Ridhima was surprised and said, “Flowers?! I think you are mistaken. My creeper does not bear any flowers.

Where did you get these flowers? These are my favorite. Thank you!”

Her neighbor smiled and asked Ridhima to come to her side of the yard.

Ridhima was wonderstruck!

The creeper had found its way to her neighbor’s yard and bore her favorite flowers on that side of the wall.

It happens in life that you put your heart as well as efforts in something but do not get rewarded. Despite all the hard work, what you receive is only disappointment.

But remind yourself of this story when you are feeling disappointed and decide to give up.

You might not see the desired results, but that does not mean that you have failed.

Sometimes the fruit of your labor might stay hidden from you. But be patient and keep the trust that your hard work will bear beautiful fruits in this world.

These fruits come back to you in one way or the other!
