POF : Account Hacked?
I just made an account about a week or two ago and today my phone suddenly started going off with a bunch of emails about people wanting to meet me/sent messages/etc. my account was never actually set up, I just registered and then left it alone. There was no personal info on the account. When I went to try and see messages/account info the phone number was changed and it was definitely not mine. It didn’t even seem like an American number considering it was written as XXXX-XX57 or maybe XXX-XX57. One of those two and obviously American numbers are kept as the (XXX)-XXX-XXXX I was able to delete my account since they thankfully didn’t change the email/password. However I have no idea what they had put on the account or what kind of messages had been sent out. Since I deleted it, will all traces of the account be gone? Has this been happening to anyone else?
