POF : Am I being catfished?
Ok so 2 weeks ago I was looking at who viewed my profile and saw this pretty girl had viewed me. I thought her profile was interesting so i sent her a message. We started chatting on plenty of fish before we moved the text to google hangouts my suggestion as I was closing my pof account. Several things are raising flags. First her profile said she is in california but her address is texas. When I asked about this she seemed to get mad. she never did answer that question. Next she says in her profile she is 31 but she’s really 29. Other that that everything seems fine until I asked for her number and she wanted to wait. so i asked about her sending me a video or video chatting she says we will see. that she wants to take things slow. she has sent me pics and none show up on google. I also know her first and last name and address. when I search that address I get someone with the same name on different white pages 1 says the person is in their 40s,another says 39,and another says 36. She also asked I close my other dating profiles. Am I being catfished? When should I push for video chat again?

I kinda thought that was happening to me, but we were a REALLY weird situation. so i asked her to send me a picture of her with her finger in her nose lol
If she wont video chat, it’s a catfish, plain and simple.
When I ask a female a simple, reasonable question and she gets mad at me, that is usually enough for me to want to stop talking to them. Because most likely she is a liar. Female liars usually « get mad » and bitch a lot to cover up their lies. And to establish control over you. The second bad sign was that she keeps putting image and video sharing off. « Wait a while. » « Wait and see. » etc. So two bad signs. The only good sign is that you found someone matching her description based on the name and address that she gave. I know that gives you hope. Even though that person is around 10 years older. But that is yet another bad sign. Because the person is lying about their age. Not only that, but in just about all my experiences, this will usually end up being her husband, boyfriend, nephew, etc. playing games with you. Could even be a messed up couple working together to toy with you. Like the woman’s husband or boyfriend is bisexual and he wants to see pictures of your junk. I’d be interested in hearing your follow up story. Please pursue this further, as far as it will go, and then give us an update when you determine whether she was real or fake.
Yes. Take it from the comments section. And take it from me. I figured it out and I’m working on tracking mine down because I strongly believe that they’re either in my town or from it because of familiarity without hesitation. So that can really be difficult to get past, but it’s not enough. Some dude out there probably has a few pictures of me shirtless or of my junk. Not too concerned about it. I’m angry for being tricked and disappointed in myself for*ignoring red flags*. Don’t do that. If you have to ask if she’s a catfish, the answer is very probably certainly yes. Don’t waste another second on him.
On POF, Always
Ill push to video chat right away. I knew a guy that used to catchfish. And that he always told me. If it seem to good to be true and she refused to to go on video chat. Or send very specific pic like her picming her nose then yeah. It likey a cat fish. You can attack her or him whit it see what happend. But their that odd chance their not a cat fish do the video chat and tell u to go fuck yourself.
Ill call them out personally. Catfishing is a hugh problem on the men side of thing. Women need to understand that.
thought I would update everyone. It’s defiantly catfish. I had the email address traced by a friend and it goes to the Philippines. Reported her to plenty of fish.
If you have to ask that question the answer is always yes. Obviously your radar is going off about red flags, don’t ignore that. On the 1% chance she IS actually real then she’s a ditz and speaking for myself, I’m done at that point.
i hate video chatting and i dont own iphones. when a guy asks, i tell him and then ask him to ask me for a strange pic request like holding up a sign with his name on it saying this is me.

also, its really strange that she gave her address out but has problems with pics and videos. i would think addresses would be the last thing a woman gives out.
