POF : Are pick up lines effective of pof?
So I just sent someone a pick up line and I have never really used one before. Are they effective or should I just have used a standard greeting? (I am not good at messaging at first till I am comfortable with the person. I am new to online dating.) I have been debating if I should have sent it in the first place.
Edit: Mission failed. She doesn’t like pick up lines. So lesson learned never use pick up lines.

I was contacted on POF last June by a guy using a pickup line… our anniversary is next week.
I think the key is to personalise the line and make it amusing 🙂
