It’s practically impossible to create fake POF accounts. You are required to verify your phone number. Which means, in most cases, you will probably have to buy a new phone for $50 or more dollars (cost of phone plus some minutes). And in the past, that wasn’t good enough because they tracked your IP address and if you had two accounts from the same IP address that would violate their rules and they would delete your second account. Some people do create multiple accounts, but they are always buying new phones. So anyway, despite all of this, this dating website has so many fake accounts. So if you are looking at search results, you will see 10-20% fake accounts. If you are looking at your profile views, you will see 20-40% fake profile views. You will also get fake emails from time to time. The list goes on. And for the last several months, I keep seeing a bunch of realistic looking POF accounts with « catch me P o f s x C O M » as the headline. Seriously, Match. Quit playing childish games. Even Nigerian Princes and Broke Military Guys are more believable than the shit you try to pull. Just give us a legit site without the fake BS and add stuff like sticker and gif gifts if you want people to spend money. Also, lift the age requirement. It was promised many years ago that the age restriction would be lifted, but it never was. Stop making promises you don’t keep.

I know the struggle. I’ll never understand how these still get created, and not be banned within two days. And not just POF, basically all dating apps.
