POF : Closed POF account for the last time
I have had this app and used it on and off for years. It keeps getting worse in terms of quality of people, features and the purpose of the site for whatever you are looking for. After POF live it got worse and people are there to not even date, just to be a D level « star ». I did a search today and even the amount of people decreased and that is what POF had it going for them, the amount of people on the site/app.
The weirdest thing is I realized of all the apes I have used, I have met the least amount of people on POF.
Has anyone else given up on POF?

I’m about to do the same. POF is garbage. 99% of anyone looking at my profile, or giving me ‘likes’ are romance scammers. Another issue, is that i have the setting on my account, so that people over 75 miles away can’t message me – it doesn’t work at all. The ‘search’ feature doesn’t work at all – whatever they’re using to index their database has been broken for years. Its an absolutely horrible site for any kind of dating.
The alternative or no better, either.
I have given up on dating apps. They have all gone down hill in my opinion. Even the expensive ones like Match.com aren’t worthwhile anymore. I’m back to the old fashioned way of meeting people.. haha.
Yes, never in my life have a been approached by so many fake accounts. Not helpful at all.
