POF : Conversations that feel like job interviews
There’s the person I was interested in getting to know but the conversation, or lack of is so stale. It literally just feels like a job interview. Ask a question. Answer a question. No elaboration on what my response was, or there’s, and then just completely moves onto a different question/topic. I definitely answered in depth, that leaves rooms for further questions about it if they wanted to. They are continuing to ask questions, but it doesn’t feel like I’m getting to know the person. Feels like they are going off some sort of questions list or something.
How would you approach the situation? Still sort of interested in still talking to them, but this current method is boring me to death lol.

How long have you been talking? If it’s been a couple of days, break the question and answer cycle by asking if they want to go out for coffee or something.
Or, if that seems like too big a jump, start asking in depth questions about something you both have in common. Start a real conversation. Riff. Joke. Draw them out…
Are you enjoying the types of questions you are being asked? Are you asking questions, too? Do you feel like you are finding things in common? (More questions, I know. Sorry.)
Some people are better in text than in person and vice versa. Maybe they are better in person. If they are asking you questions, they are interesting in getting to know you, too. Saying that, if there isn’t the right chemistry you are both wasting your time.
