POF : Experiences with getting ghosted
Throwaway because the incoming pathetic rant
Anyone else get ghosted extremely frequently? I had what I thought was an amazing date with a girl. I seriously had the most fun I’ve ever had in a while and I could see she was enjoying it. We had a lot in common too. At the end of the night I ask if she’d be interested in dinner in the future and she says yes. Awesome.
So it’s been two days+ since and I’ve messaged her letting her know that I’m free if she available. I know she’s had to seen the message because a few times I’ve been on it says she was online. But no message, nothing.
And this isn’t the first time I’ve had this happen. I’m not mad, I just wish people would give closure. It’s not obligated, just courtesy. A simple « not interested » would be great. I can’t learn from my mistakes if I don’t know what I did wrong.

I’m ghosted constantly. Can’t stand it, not sure what to do about it.
In my experience, most girls on POF are assholes who think they don’t need to communicate or be courteous because guys are bombarding their inbox.
At least you’re getting dates!
The worst ones I find are the ones you talk to completely normally then it comes to date night and they vanish and refuse to talk all day despite being online, now this would bother me if it only happens once or twice but it’s a regular occurance now.
