POF : I am beginning to think the glass doesn’t exist.
I have been searching 10 years for a mate online. I’m told to read the woman’s profile and then send them a message. I’m told to create a positive profile and smile. Does anyone do this? I complain that the profiles are too long a boring to read. I would like the cliff notes version. But I read them anyway and respond. Am I wasting my time? Am I contacting the wrong women? Who are the right women to contact? Collect all the single people together in a safe space. Feels like a middle school dance in here. Is this simply a for profit dating website?

I’ve meet a bunch of women on there without paying. Maybe it’s just the area you live in
I’m on OkCupid, Match.com, and PoF. I find them all the same. My anger has subsided and the depression has returned.
Maybe try old school methods of dating? Like joining a club/activity and interacting with women via that.
How long is « too long and boring »?
