Im fully aware that this is what most women have to deal with on any dating site. So it it just boggles my mind that a guy like me that has always sent well written polite messages gets pretty much completely ignored by the opposite sex. I would think a normal message would stand out like a sore thumb, but I guess it still proves that most women still have unrealistic expectations when it comes to dating.
I am a firm believer that when women have access to such a large pool of men to choose from it alters their perception. It causes them to cherry pick guys based on specific traits.
Before online dating a woman would interact with a guy and like him for his personality and not have any idea what his exact height was. She knew that he was taller than her, but my point is, nowadays, a woman that is say 5’6, she can dismiss any guys under 5’10, without ever realizing that one of those guys could’ve been an amazing match that she would have had loved meeting and hanging out with.
Every time women make a post like this and show screen captures of messages or talk about all the trashy messages they get… There’s always women that reply or think to themselves that they just wish a guy would send a nice message. But the fact of the matter is, a lot of women do receive nice messages, you just never hear anything about it, because they don’t want to talk about all the guys that they turn down based on looks alone, or because the guy was 1 inch shorter than what they want, or because he doesn’t have the degree that they think “their” man should have…etc etc
Most of those guys deserved to get trashed, but you were overly harsh to a few. Maybe it’s just reading them all in one go.
Is that what it takes to get a response on these apps? No wonder my respectful messages never get replies. On another note, fuck the Freemasons. And the Illuminati. And the NWO. And Hulk Hogan. Seriously though, I admire your ability to handle douchebags like these with class and still maintain a sense of humor. Kudos!
