POF : I’m just another user who keeps having his profile deleted for no reason. It’s extremely annoying, there is no support and I’ve no idea how to fix the problem.
Decided for the eleventeenth time to sign up to POF. This time, I decided to go via the app. Maybe POF’s better than when I used it years ago.
Sign up, spend time sculpting a well written profile, chose some good photos, then messaged a few people. Great!
12 hours later, decided to check on things. Can’t log in. Tried searching for my own username. Not there. Profile has been deleted once again.
This isn’t the first time. My account keeps being deleted for no reason. I don’t list anything sexual on my profile, I don’t state that I’m married, I’m not offensive, I don’t harass anyone, my photos are all mine, I’ve used unique emails and IPs. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the procedure. It works, and the account is created, only for it to be deleted again within 30 minutes.
I tried looking for a support email. There isn’t one. I tried info@pof.com. Undelivered. I even tried success@pof.com which is listed on the site and that comes back as Undelivered as well.
How can a site function like this?

They automated the block/ban/report process and fucked off, support don’t answer, your i.p address and email address get blacklist and the account gets automatically deleted.

Need to change your i.p address and use a throwaway email address to sign up again.
csr@pof.com is the correct email.
There are lots and lots of threads about this on the POF forums. Most of them walk you through different solutions.
Just a thought, use a different email. If you have been blocked a few times from the same email surely it would be blacklisted.
