POF used to be good before Markus sold his site to match. It all depends on if you are a guy or girl. If you are a guy then POF is not worth it because I have guy friends who say its full of bots and they have shown me this. However I live in Boston and as a girl I used to get guy bots on it pretending to be in the active military which really pissed me off. I actually had decent luck off it when it was good but now it sucks

Every once in a while I lose a couple of days talking to a boy or scammer, and I also find real people.
Waste of time it’s bot infested I quit it no point going on anymore.
I’ve been on and off it for a about 5yrs in total. Had very little success thanks to how Ottawa is with entitlement, antisocialness and of course judging people the wrong way. I had to branch out of city limits to try to find my match. However, this didn’t work out. The final straw was finding out the last girl I talked to had a boyfriend this whole time. I followed her on Instagram, to her knowledge. We followed each other for about 4 or 5 months and then she posted a picture of her and her boyfriend kissing each other under the headline 4yr anniversary. I was like WTF! I called her out on it and she blocked me. Should’ve taken a screenshot…
I met the love of my life on this site. Yes, it’s overrun by bots for men and trash guys for the females. However, I have so much thanks to give to this site as I met my soulmate here. I was never one to give online dating a chance, but after being single for 2 years and several awkward dates from people on the site, I met my soulmate.
I would say it is worth it I met my partner on this site it’s a wonderful way to find that special someone best of luck in your quest for love
Over the years, I’ve gotten 3 relationships out of it that each lasted a couple months, but the amount of effort you have to put in vs what you get back is really making me question whether I should keep trying…
I found my SO on pof, funny enough he convinced me to meet him at a hotel after we had talked on the phone for a couple of weeks. We aren’t officially together but we’ve been to Vegas, Seattle and were going to Europe next month. I’ve never been happier.
