Why is it sometimes it shows mobile people only up to 15miles, but then I log in at a later time, and then it goes up to 20miles+?

nearby feature for me went Middlesborough, Portsmouth, Shanghai… so that 20+miles, 400+miles and fuck knows how far away Shanghai is!
