POF : New to POF. Is the « Someone wants to meet you » inflated with insanely hot be bots to get me to upgrade?
Been on POF for maybe 24 hours and I have 36+ notifications of people who want to meet me (they swiped right?). Based on their thumbnail pic, the majority of them are out of my league. Is this a ploy by POF to get me to upgrade so I can see their profile? How many of these are legit vs. catfish or bots?

Yup. If she’s too hot to be true, 99% of the time it it a bot.
Had POF for a month, nothing but bots and scammers. Deleted it after getting fed up
Why would bots get you to upgrade?
I’ve had it for 24hrs now too, most of my matches are genuine. But I have niche interests.
In the UK there aren’t that many bots and spammers.
