POF : Person requesting verification code, possible scam?
I was messaging this guy on POF and after a week he asked for my phone number. I gave it to him and after a week of texting he told me that I was going to get a call with a verification code. I denied the call and told him I was not comfortable with that. He called me some nasty names so I blocked his phone number. I’ve been borderline suspicious of him but I didn’t see a glaring red flag so I went with the flow. What exactly was this guy trying to get me to do?
