POF : POF now requiring Phone # to log in? How do I cancel my account?
Why is this happening when I log in to POF? I have used this computer to log into my account many times. This is the same problem I had with Tinder and the reason I left that app. I can’t even go to my profile so I can delete my PlentyOfFish account. To be honest, I’ve been using POF for over 10 years and I’d rather not delete my account. But if giving my personal phone number is now a requirement, then I’d like to cancel my account. How can I cancel my account if I can’t even get past this screen?

Yep it is for security purposes as they are trying to combat the fake bots and fake profiles. FYI 95% of all dating apps and sites require a cell phone number for security verification.
