POF : Search feature needs updating
It seems if someone will not allow you to message them because of distance gender, age and ect… that those users would not even show up in your search or the very least, the quick message would already be disabled. Now I can see not stating why those reasons are not listed. So random clowns can’t change their settings just to message them. Just disable the dam quick message.
A lot of time is wasted typing up on the phone or computer a message that usually is specific to the user you are trying to contact just to get shut down. If its a message limit, there should be a notification or something. I mean its a quick message, how the hell are we supposed to know if they want us to write a lecture on our life, what we like on their profile or a /srand amount of gibberish.
And WTF with all the bots. It seems the bots and scammers have increased 1k fold in just the last few years. I bet I have encountered at least 100 bots/scammers per 1 real person. Hell I bet at least half the currently online users in my area are bots.

I block a ton of bots just msing me easy to spot them PoF needs to do better at cleaning them up

Not only in just search, but recommended and My Matches as well.. I have a very specific post about that!
Bad blocks, too. I can block someone, and they still turn up on searches! Why? And vice versa.. I’ve been blocked, but that person that blocked me still comes up on a search.
So I did come across a profile that had a message limit the app gave a pop-up message tha stated as such, but not min word count. Hopefully it’s not another bot. Been staying away from profiles with any numbers in theme as well. Seems those are mostly or almost all bots
I’d settle for them not showing you people you’ve blocked or that have blocked you.
