POF : Should I take the mention of my disability out of my profile?
I’m on the fence about keeping the blurb about my disability (wheelchair user) in my profile. I wanted to just put it out there and get it over with but now I’m thinking about removing it and bringing it up if I match with someone. Yea or nay?

I think wheelchair would be a big deal. You don’t wanna waste yours or their time if they are not open to that idea.
I think it’s okay to not say it in your profile as long as you mention it early on in a conversation, as it would be quite important to most people I think. And if anyone says to you, « why didn’t you mention it in your profile? » just say that you wanted to give people a chance to talk to you a little first.
You don’t mention your gender, but if you’re a guy don’t assume that it’s the wheelchair that’s been putting people off. Unless you’re Chris Hemsworth you’re not going to be getting inundated regardless!
