POF : Somehow mark on my profile that I’m trans?
Is there a way to mark on my profile that I’m trans? I say right in my profile that I am and ask that guys please not message me if that’s not something they’re open to, but seems like nobody reads even the shortest of profiles. I’m so sick of getting deep into talking with interesting guys only for us to realize later it can’t work. Or worse – suddenly turning insulting and telling me I’m « tricking » them?!
Please tell me there’s some way to make this better for everyone?

If it’s in your profile, once you think there’s actually any level of conversation going on, just ask them to make sure they’ve read your profile. Past that, it’s on them.
Unfortunately there isn’t an option with POF other than putting it in your headline and/or profile. Some of us do genuinely read the profiles before we get into sending a message but some people don’t bother.
Only way I’ve seen it done is put TS as your headline so it’s right there though in doubt that will fix the shit heads you are dealing with.
This Is very much a problem with the guys and not you as you were honest with it up front.
Some guys are super insecure about their sexuality, they will think they can deal with pre op but cant and have essentially used you as a kind of experiment to see if they could.
The other people are also so insecure about their sexuality that while they were attracted to your feminine features the penis you may still own some how makes their sexuality tremble this the need to lash out.
The only reliable thing you can do is put it in your headline. It’s the only thing most people read, can’t count on anyone to read the body of your profile.
That is a great idea.
Add this to the list of things POF and OLD in general should have.
