POF : Would it be risky if…?
Every time my messages are Read Deleted and I’m ignored, I feel like sending a new, sarcastic one to laugh at the user who considers herself too good to talk to me. I guess this would eventually have me banned from POF? Or are women users used enough to men having childish reactions?

Why waste your time? There’s lots of reasons anyone might not respond to someone else and it is a numbers game. If you got a reply from everyone that would be pretty surprising. When you play video poker or blackjack, one of the keys to making money is to play as many hands as you can in a given amount of time. Same thing here. All that effort you would put into trying to shame some woman who didn’t respond to you is time you could spend trying to talk to another woman. Now look at the possible upside. The woman you snark might complain. She might just think you are a jerk and now she’s glad she didn’t talk to you. She isn’t going to go, « Oh! I didn’t realize you were so clever! » and start up a conversation. Now the other girl might also blow you off. But she might not. So there’s your answer.
DO NOT DO THIS! I REPEAT DO NOT DO THIS! This is the reason as a girl whenever I actually do get a message from a guy, and I read their message and profile and don’t feel like we are not on the same page I don’t even respond at all anymore. Anytime I have either gotten a message and just didn’t feel I was on the same page with the guy, or I started talking to a guy and just didn’t see it going any further than the site, if I sent a polite message saying I was not interested or I just didn’t think we were on the same page I almost always got a nasty response back. One time I didn’t respond to a guy and I still got a nasty message telling me to go fuck myself and my mother dresses me funny.

Sounds super lame do you not want to continue to use the site? Just move on dude and message someone else. This behavior is rather crazy if you do so.

Part of living is having failures it will make you appreciate the one you do connect with.

This sounds weird. You do realize that you can consider someone « at your level » and still not be interested in them, right? Someone not wanting to talk to you on a dating site does not necessarily mean they think you are literally « inferior »; you might just not be a good fit for them based on what you have in your profile.
