Access the complete history of your activity on Facebook

In order to better control the visibility of your content on Facebook, it is possible to view a personal history of all your activity: status, photos, likes, profile changes, etc. To access it, open the confidentiality shortcuts, section « Who can see my content? » »And click on the link« Access my personal history ». It is also accessible from your profile, just below your cover photo.

The page displays a feed that can be filtered according to categories. All the types of activities and content that you have been able to share are present, you can modify the visibility parameters (see our article on the subject) and hide / delete them in 2 clicks. A category is dedicated to the publications in which you are identified (status, photos) as well as those of other people on your newspaper. Note that only the “Photos” category allows multiple selection, useful for removing identifications on the fly.

The activities of your applications are also present in the history, useful for monitoring which are those which publish the most in your newspaper (such as Spotify, Deezer, DailyMotion). For each activity, you can modify the application settings: modify the visibility settings, remove automatic sharing in your journal or even completely remove the application. The option can be configured individually, per publication, or for all application activity.

Note that it is possible to directly modify the overall behavior of the application in the upper part of the page, as well as the places in which you want to see its activities. Some of these apps put inserts in your profile, like the most visited places on Foursquare or the most listened to artists on Spotify. This setting will allow you to choose whether or not to display these spaces.

Once you have examined your personal history in detail, it is possible to find out what other users are seeing by visiting your profile. To access it, the link is in the confidentiality shortcuts, below the personal history (« View as »). You can check what any user sees or what a specific person sees. Useful to ensure that your settings are relevant.

POF : So is this a fake account? I said « How are you » to this girl and she just gives her number. Is that odd?
