I’d venture to say that this is the “toxic masculinity” conception you speak of. I’ve always favored the bold, direct approach in my dating and sexual interactions, communicating firmly, assertively, and clearly my goals, desires, wants, and disposisitions, which is patently masculine confidence, at least in most of my interactions. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for us men to embrace our bold nature, our inner fearless man who isn’t afraid to communicate that we’re interested on a romantic level. I think directness, boldness, assertiveness, and going out and getting what we want are congruent with the idea of consent.

Dating : This guy wants to date me, but during lunch he ordered $45 worth of sushi and I ordered $15. I ended up paying half of the $60 bill. Is it wrong if me to feel annoyed?
