Dating : My Dearest Loved One

h2>Dating : My Dearest Loved One

Ina

To the one whom I love dearest, what is it like back at home? I miss the sweet scent of the warm blissful roses blossoming between the splinters of the cold stone wall. That wall from which I first held your warm tender hands in my own. I miss the smile of the one I fell in love with. My own, dearest of loves.
The rain here is cold and daunting, a rhythmic pattering upon us, soothing the sounds of gunfire and mortar fire. With each passing day I feel slowly distraught, I feel drawn away from you. Is this the same for you, as each day passes? The pain is unbearable. I miss your open arms and angelic voice, I want to hear you say to me that everything is going to be alright, that we will see each other again. Tomorrow marks the beginning of our march North towards the Argonne’s forest. I don’t think I will be able to send you these letters anymore after we arrive. I don’t think I can lie anymore either. I know I am you knight in shining armor, but I am scared. I’m scared I’ll never see you again. The lost sight of your gleaming body is a punishment of which is worse than death. So please, keep me within your heart, as I will do the same for you, never to escape my mind.

Sincerely your lost soldier,
Mr. David Price
