Dating : That one scene in Inception: A masterpiece by Christopher Nolan

Inception is my favorite movie of all time.

The movie strikes a right balance between technicality and emotions. For this, credits should go to Nolan.

And as always Hans Zimmer blow us out of the water with his music. I think no other person could have created a music that resonated perfectly with the movie’s plot.

The visuals of the movie is top notch. The way tension builds up in the audience is aggravating.

Movie Summary: Our protagonists with his team, goes into dream within dream of the subject, who is to become the owner of a big Energy Conglomerate and change his mind to sink the company.

That one scene:

I am talking about the scene where Arthur is explaining to Ariadne about paradox.

Before this scene, Cobb gets into Ariadne’s dream to teach her about dream world, but when Ariadne changes too many things in the dream world, she was attacked by Cobb’s wife Mal(Cobb’s projection).

Later, when Arthur was having a session with Ariadne about paradox, Ariadne asks Arthur the reason why Cobb cannot build dreams anymore and “Why is Cobb letting his wife run around wild in his dream?”, “is it because they are not together?”, “are they divorced?” That is when Arthur reveals that Cobb’s wife is dead.

Not many people will understand the gravity of the issue here. If you love someone deeply and that person is dead and if you have the chance to see them everyday in your dream and talk with them just like before, Will you not think of them as soon as you get into any dream. It is infinitely hard to keep them out of your mind.

When it comes to mixing emotions with technicality and surging the audience’s tension, Nolan is a master.

This is the primary reason why I love Inception. I keep on finding interesting things whenever I re-watch it.
