i am 55. 6’2″ and 215 lbs. i put my looks at a flat 7. just your ordinary, average guy. i am a retired military / OTR owner / operator. i own my home. never married. no kids. no girlfriend for the last 8 years. i worked my ass off in the military and as an OTR O/O. that is how i got to where i am today. i do not live like a king (vet benefits are not nearly as good as you civvies think)but i live comfortably. i just bought a brand new $1550 e drum kit. poor people can not afford shit like that. got all sorts of « man cave toys. »

but with all these things going for me, pof is going no where.

this really sucks, as i live in a small town. the nearest city is over an hour away. i put my search range at 75mi, which juuuuuust covers that major city. i make every possible concession i can think of. i will come meet you. you can come meet me. we can meet half way. i will chat on the phone a few times, 2 or 3, then meet. i tried meeting some one on social media (ie facebook). aaaaaand yeah, i got enough friends. i am looking for more!

i honestly thought that if i retired early enough, i would have the time to find a good woman to share my retired life with. does not matter if they still work.

IMAGINE ladies!!! coming home to an excellent meal, a clean home, and a man who spends 95% of his time thinking…… »what can i do to make her day even better? »

other 5% goes to « man cave toys » time LOL!! seriously though!!

like i said, small town here. already met just about every single woman here. hence why i thought this online thing would work, but seems………………………….i was wrong.

gonna give bumble a try. i refuse to spend money on this. especially with the results i am seeing on pof so far. instead, once a month, i will take the money i would have spent on a dating site, and spend it getting to that city 75mi away. i mean, cost of gas, maybe a bit a food if i meet some one, a knick-knack or two? what is that cost? one month subscription to just about any dating site.

the biggest bummer is………..i have been around the world several times. i have personally driven well over 1 million miles myself. i used to do 500 – 800 miles a day OTR. now i look at 75 miles to the city, and think « FUCK!! that’s soooooo far!!! » LMFAO!!! HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
