POF : Less Results on POF than Tinder/Bumble/Hinge/OkCupid?
With all due respect to POF, it seems to have the absolute lowest, bottom of the barrel selection of people available. Like the most ratchet, nasty, unattractive and uncultured women, many of who don’t even have high school degrees, and many of who already have two kids and two jobs. I created an account just as a test, and I somehow haven’t gotten any interest aside from maybe one person. Yet on apps like Hinge and Bumble, which actually have clean, quality, and hotter women, I do fairly okay. How does this even make sense lol? Maybe they don’t even bother

The ‘men’ are just as idiotic, bottle of the barrel, waste of time people.
The women on there say the same about the men…the absolute bottom of the barrel…
With that said, I do know that I met a couple of single moms on there and they said they joined because it was « free », and they were testing out the online dating world. They hadn’t heard of hinge or bumble, but it’s what they knew from their earlier days.
My theory is, a lot of the good women join to test out the online dating, see it’s crap, and they get the fuck out. Just my theory. But yea, hinge or coffee meets bagel…..night and day!
I see fuck all scammers on POF.
The people you see on there are just normal, regular people. They probably think the same of you. In fact… if you get no results from these « bottom of the barrel women », it says a lot more about you than it does them.
There’s also a lot of women on POF that are just on there to dick tease, and just get messages and even reply to the messages simply for validation purposes. A lot of them don’t even really want to meet anyone in person, they just want text buddies and guys to string along for their entertainment. I’ve met some crazies from Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Okcupid, so those apps aren’t safe from those types either.

Someone referred to POF as « the trailer park of dating sites. »
POF is finished. Ok Cupid is also finished.
Can’t comment on bumble or hinge as I’ve never used them.
Tinder was good until the pandemic and everyone was using tinder passport and I was just only getting people 5000m away

I guess I got lucky then cause I met my wife on POF. And my best friend also met his wife on there. And this was around 2018 – 2019 when me and him had our success on POF.
