POF : As a free account is this a good dating app
I came back to using POF today from literally years ago, when i get an email that someone messaged me I press on the link and it takes me to a radom POF page where there are random profile pics of females, to contact or view who messages or favorites you do you need a premium acct?

A premium account isn’t worth the money.
All it does for you is that it allows you to see if/when someone reads your message, when they were last online and also disables ads across the site. That’s it.
You will not get more interest on the site simply because you have a paid account.
The ratio of men to women is crazy high.
If you’re a woman, you can expect to receive tons of lewd messages from men on POF.
If you’re a man, prepare to be bombarded by scammers and bots appearing to be real women.

Nope, just create a free account and have at it.
Do not upgrade, just stick with the free stuff.
Don’t give pof your money, they don’t deserve it.
Do not give a single penny to any dating sites…..They are the bottom of the barrel at best and to give someone money to not only get ignored but to find out you’re being ignored at what time / date is even worse…..If you must use dating sites then at least install an ad-blocker, so you wont see ads on their sites.
That is what is keeping the site alive.
Having ways that you can actually talk to real people without needing to give bank account info keeps a good pool of users.
Even though POF is not anyone’s favorite dating brand, most people on other sites will have a POF as well since its actually free to join and get messages anyway.
