POF : How do matches work?
If I’ve matched with someone on the 25th of feb, does that mean I’ve liked them recently? Or could it have been I’ve liked them 6 months ago and they’ve like me on the 25th?

I think it could be either. I’m not sure how many people use that swiping feature on there though.
I have no idea, I would guess it’s the 2nd one. When I was using POF, it was free to message anyone. I never paid any attention to likes or matches. I just messaged men I was interested in.
They don’t mean anything. Messaging people is the only way to get their attention.
