Dating : To pursue or not? Or just overthinking?

So I’ve been precepting as a student nurse and finish up this week. I met this really cute girl on the floor who is an aide and we talk all the time when working together. She seems like she’s flirting as well which is a good sign. I’ll be working on the floor that I’m on now but don’t start for another 6 weeks so wouldn’t see her for a while. As a result, we just happened to finish at the same time the other day so asked her to walk to our cars which she did. Once we got to our cars, I asked her out and she said yes and that I’d reach out to her but I was kinda nervous so stupidly forgot to get her number. I messaged her on IG and haven’t heard back but she sent me a friend request on FB. I’m prob reading into it too much so should I message her on FB asking for her number or just wait on IG? Or just not bother and take it as a hint? I tend to overthink a lot like seeing on IG how you can see if someone has seen your message or not and doesn’t appear that she’s opened it.
