Dating : This seems like a silly question to ask, but can someone be interested in you but act awkward/almost disinterested about it?
I met a girl last week as school’s starting up (grad students), and in the days since I’ve caught her sneaking glances at me, her body language has been mostly been positive around me (you know, stuff like playing with her hair, preening, etc), stuff like that
But I’ve also picked up on this, idk how else to put it, like nervous tense air if she’s close to me, and she just comes off as awkward and stiff. She barely directly talks to me or even looks at me in some cases – it’s a little strange
For reference, I think she’s cute, but I haven’t asked her out or made any sort of move (so it’s not like I’ve made anything awkward between us). I’m legit curious – can someone be interested but then act weird around you? I’ve never experienced this before
Yes, this sort of things happens all the time. Reddit is full of subs with stories like about it. Most people are scared of rejection or have no idea what to do or even what to say.
