Dating : Asking Mutual friend for opinion
I’ve been seeing this girl for a few weeks now and things are going well. We initially met off tinder. I learned that we have a mutual friend; would it be unusual to ask the mutual friend about this girl to learn more or should I just trust her?
I don’t think it’s wrong at all to ask. Just be casual about it. “Hey friend, I saw you know (insert name here). How did you meet? Oh, that’s cool…” and gently let the conversation go from there. Just don’t pry and ask questions like, “have they been arrested?” Or “what happened in their last relationship?” Other than that you’re fine to casually ask.
