Dating : How do I find someone?
Ok folks, I do admit that on the surface this seems like a somewhat simple question to be answered, but my situation is complicated.
So I’m coming out of a divorce, and I’m on most of major dating apps. I have multiple pictures up, and all the profile info is current and seems reasonable. The thing is I get 0 live matches, and all the matches that I do get are scammers.
I moved to a new city, in a new state, as part of the divorce, and know no one here. Thus I don’t really know of any good places to go meet anyone.
Any and all suggestions would be great.
Fix your brain game first. Don’t rely on photos.
Try this: take your photos down, then go text only. Practice until you’re getting matches with no photos. Then you’ll be ready.
I did it and I get a couple of matches a day with no photos.
You can post your profile to ask for advice about how to fine tune it. If you’re a man, you really have to have a good profile to do well. I’ve noticed that a lot of men are oblivious about what makes for a good profile.
Aside from the apps, just try to join clubs, social groups, sports, etc. You want to get a good group of friends and a social circle that you can meet people through in real life.
