Dating : long hair woes
hullo!
i joined today to ask you folks if this is a deal breaker or not with dating… i have very long, thick hair. since it started to reach super long territory (reaching to my hips) about 10 years ago, i have noticed everyone i have dated or been in a relationship (male and female) has asked me to cut my hair.
the recent person i have been dating mentioned not only did he find my hair to be my least attractive feature, he commented on how he hates my fringe bangs and how there are no layers to my hair.
i didn’t say this to him, and sorry for the side rant, but this look with my hair as it currently is — is my favorite i’ve ever had length wise, color, and style. it feels authentically « me. » it took me YEARS to grow out the uneven pieces.
am i going to remain single until i cut it? i feel very beautiful and feminine with my mane. why are the people i date or am attracted to into shorter hair styles? is long hair unattractive? what gives? are they jealous? *flips hair*
