Dating : Need advice:
I’m in my 40s; divorced, 2 kids 50% no drama with ex. Great career; financially set; attractive and fit. I’ve been OLD for 5 years, mostly terrible experiences. Where I live are tons of women and few good men who want LTR.
Dated a guy I met online for the past 7 months. Out of over 100 dates and mini relationships over the years this guy was AMAZING. So much in common; consistent; great dates and made me his gf within about 2 months.
At about 6 months I started getting a bit resentful he wasn’t using the L-word or talking future with me. He promised to take me on a vacation this summer (“I want to take you to an all inclusive and spoil you”) but every time I asked about setting dates I would get excuses. He is legit a busy guy between his work and kids.
We had a spat on Saturday night about him being late and in a bad mood for our long-planned date night and he hung up on me. Twice. Broke up with me Sunday; he threw out the fact that we’ve had a few spats (3, minor over 7 months!), said he needed a break and hung up again.
Y’all, I love this man and thought he was my person‼️ I’m dying of a broken heart💔 I’m ready to move to a nunnery.
Does it sound like he’s done? Should I be done? He’s never acted like this before …
