Dating : What to do after a good date?
I went out with a guy I met on bumble. We’d been texting/talking for over a month, then finally met him at a restaurant 2 nights ago. It went great, we got a long, laughed a lot and no awkward pauses. He’d talked about how it was the best date he’s had so far and was mentioning restaurants we could go “next time.” He also told me that he would take a day off of work this week when I have my day off so we could go to the movie theatre together.
I ended up going back to his place. We watched 2 movies and cuddled and laughed. I ended up staying the night. We didn’t have sex but things did get sexual and we “messed around.”
The next morning he drove me back to my place, and told me he had a great time and would like to see me again. We also kissed.
It’s been almost 2 days since he dropped me off and I haven’t gotten any text from him. I’m not sure if he was truly interested… and I’m afraid that I’ll come off as clingy or strange if I follow up with a text asking if he’s going to be free on my off day this week. Because I’m not sure if he meant it or if he was just being polite. I feel that if he was interested he would’ve texted me by now… thoughts?

Who cares if you come off as clingy don’t play those games if you want to hear from him message him. If things don’t go well you’d get your answer faster than waiting around and wondering. It sounds like it went really well but yeah two days without any sort of contact is concerning, but don’t be afraid no matter what. If you had a good date with this guy you can have others. Stay confident and go for the things you want.
Basically the same story as soooo many before today.
Why don’t you initiate contact? To « not come off as clingy » is a bad, bad reason.
