Dating : When profile bios say « shoot your shot »
Doesn’t this come off as extremely arrogant/self-serving? I don’t know why, but when I read a profile that ends with something like « shoot your shot, guys », I immediately lose all interest.

The amounts of things many girls say on these profiles is stunning. It’s not even that it’s really unattractive, it’s also pretty discouraging and depressing to see how nasty girls can be and still get thousands of people begging for her attention while as a guy if you don’t have a perfect profile you don’t even exist. Let alone a mediocre one. Or even one saying things like you described. It’s unbelievable how incredibly skewed dating is in favor of girls.

Ahaha the true meaning is « my self esteem is down and i need some validation, go ahead and give me some ». Hell i even saw (when i used to be on OLD apps) something like « I NEVER do the first move, if you don’t then just unmatch ». Quit online dating for good guys.

Same here. I don’t want to have anything to do with someone who sees themselves as a prize to be won over. It makes me think they’re self-absorbed.
They want the meaningless validation from online dating and void of any personality.
Don’t give those women the ego boost. 4s have no business thinking they’re 8s.
