Dating : Why would you not want your ex to date your friend ?
I have known this girl since high school . When me and my girl were dating they became friends . Me and my girl broke up and my ex ran right to her and ruined our friendship . My ex tells her to stay away from me , not to date me and have nothing to do with me . What da fu we were friends before . Why does my ex want to keep me away from her ?
When I break up with someone, I get over it by completely cutting them out of my life. If you are dating your ex’s friend, you are still in her life, even in an ancillary capacity. Additionally, when I break up with someone, it helps to imagine that they are completely lost without me and will never like anyone ever again. I know this isn’t the case on an intellectual level, but in the aftermath of a breakup, I have to tell myself that I am so amazing my ex can ever feel those feelings for anyone else. If you are dating ex’s friend, knowing you guys are together is fundamentally at odds with that thinking.
Idk if this is the case with your ex, but it’s how I deal with a break up. It is also COMPLETELY against girl code to date your friend’s ex, or anyone that she ever liked for that matter. Go get your own fresh man, girl.
Maybe they know she/he is messed up and don’t want you dating the ex. That or it is just weird. Occam’s Razor falls both ways here…
I think it would he strange to have a friend date my ex. We probably broke up because they hurt me in some way. My friend should be hanging out with me, helping me get over this, not seeing a opening to get with someone.
It feels very disrespectful to the friendship, selfish and just mean spirited.
Don’t need friends like that in my life…
