The assumption that there is someone for everyone is highly flawed. In theory there is, but meeting that person grows more difficult by the day. I have had my share of rejections, and I can tell you it hasn’t moved me one bit closer to finding someone that feels the same way about me as I do about them.
I hate to be that person but that’s wishful thinking. Many people are alone and remain alone. There’s no guarantee anyone of us will ever find “the one”. The one is a human-made concept anyway. There’s a chance that there’ll be no future partner for some of us.
If you’re rejected, sure. But if you’re ghosted it’s because you were dating someone incredibly immature who doesn’t know how to talk about their feelings.
That sucks I just ate a hot dog and would hitch hike across country if there was someone I got along with well
my future partner probably hung themselves.
